Cynosure '26
Held on April 23rd & 24th, 2026, as a premier segment of Crescendo '26 (the flagship cultural festival of SSCBS). Our national-level festival welcomed 157 participants from across the country with a cash prize corpus of ₹10,000.
Event 1: Short Story (Short Film Competition)
Description: Challenged filmmaker cohorts to script and direct original cinematic narratives.
Judges: Film director Utkarsh Chaturvedi and director-cinematographer Abhimanyu Sharma.
Winners:
1st Position: Jay Kumar (Cash Prize: ₹2,100)
2nd Position: Divyay Goel (Cash Prize: ₹1,600)
3rd Position: Shreya Tiwari (Cash Prize: ₹1,300)
Event 2: Photo Revolution (On-the-Spot Photography)
Description: Challenged 110 participants to navigate the live campus ecosystem under strict temporal boundaries to test spontaneity, framing precision, and narrative depth.
